Dock Management is a paid CartonCloud application. Contact the CartonCloud support team for pricing and access.
Purpose
For administrators setting up a new workspace. Work through these in order — each step builds on the one before it. Everything here lives in Settings.
Follow the steps top to bottom, then invite your team and start taking bookings.
1. Log in
Open your workspace and sign in with the account from your invite (password or Google). The first admin lands on the empty calendar — that fills in as you complete the steps below.
2. Set up warehouses and working hours
Add a warehouse for each physical site, then set the hours you operate. Do this first — docks and bookings both belong to a warehouse, and working hours shape what the calendar and carrier booking links allow.
→ Setting up warehouses, docks, and working hours
3. Set up docks
Create a dock door for every loading position, and give each a colour so the team can read the calendar at a glance. Docks belong to the warehouse you're viewing, so make sure the right warehouse is selected first.
→ Setting up warehouses, docks, and working hours
4. Configure the CartonCloud integration
Connect your CartonCloud account so bookings can carry real order context — purchase orders, sales orders, and consignments linked straight to each booking.
- Enter your CartonCloud Tenant ID and API credentials under Settings → CartonCloud
- Check each warehouse has its matching CartonCloud warehouse ID
→ Connecting CartonCloud
You're set up — now go live
- Invite your team under Settings → Users, and give each person the right role (Viewer, Operator, or Admin) → Accepting your invite
- Add your carriers and send their booking links so they can self-book slots → Carriers and booking links
- Set up a check-in kiosk on a tablet at each site → The driver check-in kiosk
A quick way to sanity-check your setup: create one test booking, drag it onto a dock, and confirm it shows on the calendar and the Today board. Delete it once you're happy.
