Transport Products in CartonCloud

What is a Transport Product?
Transport Products will make your and your driver's job much easier. Rather than guessing what items are included in the transport job, you will have accurate and straightforward descriptions making it easy to know what items belong to which job and that you have delivered the correct goods.
For example, Coffee Warehousing and Distribution’s current set-up means that the driver will only see the number of items to be delivered on a job and not what these actual items are. This causes many problems as sometimes drivers will take the wrong items for a job or deliver them and then realise they are the wrong item. With CartonCloud and Transport Products, the drivers can see what these items are, avoiding mix-ups and increasing delivery accuracy. For example, a transport job may list 2 pallets and 1 carton on an order versus just listing three items on the order.
You can even add in predefined length, width and height. For example, if you deliver white goods, you could create a Transport Product called Fridge and set the predefined length, width and height against the Transport Product.
Benefits of using Transport Products
- Reduce repetitive data entry.

- Allows you to define rates based on the Transport Product. For example, if you are transporting a tyre from Brisbane to Sydney or a solar panel from Melbourne to Adelaide.
- Increased visibility for your drivers on what they are delivering.
- Customisation to meet your customer and operational needs.
- Increased data accuracy.
