Charging Storage for different sized items

Purpose

To charge for products of different sizes. 

Background 

If you have products which take up more than one physical pallet space, you'll likely want to charge more for their storage. 

Each product type in CartonCloud can be charged different storage rates, so by creating a new product type, you can then define a new storage rate specifically for this type of product - it could be less or more than your normal storage rates.

How to Steps

  1. Add new Product Types for the different sized items. For example, Standard Pallet and Oversize Pallet.
  2. Add a new Product(which is of the new Product Types)
  3. Enable Warehouse Locations to allow the new Product Type to be stored there. 
  4. Create new storage charges for the new Product Types
