The below statuses are used to communicate the point in the process a Consignment is currently at. 

Awaiting Sale Order PackingThe Sale Order associated with the Consignment has not yet been packed. 
Awaiting PickupThe Consignment is yet to be collected by the driver. This status is only for Consignments that require a pickup. 
In WarehouseThe Consignment is in the warehouse and is ready to go out for delivery. 
Awaiting Pickup (Point to Point)The Consignment is yet to be picked up by the driver. This status is only for Consignment types of Point to Point. 
In Transit (Pickup->Warehouse)The Consignment has been collected by the driver and is en route to the warehouse. This status is only for Consignments that require a pickup and are coming back to the warehouse. 
In Transit (Warehouse->Delivery)The Consignment has left the Warehouse and is with the driver en route to its delivery location. This status is for Consignments that are already at the warehouse.

In Transit (Pickup→Delivery)

The Consignment has been picked up and is with the driver and en route to its delivery location. This status is for Consignments that require a pickup. 

With On Forwarder

If the Consignment is travelling with an On Forwarder and the Consignment has been handed over for delivery (left the Warehouse). 
Delivered to WarehouseThe Consignment has now arrived at the Warehouse. This status is for pickup Consignments that do not require delivery and are coming back to the Warehouse. 
DeliveredThe Consignment has been delivered to its final destination. 
Delivered (Point to Point)The point to point Consignment has been delivered to its final destination and is now complete. 


When cancelling a Consignment there are a number of statuses you can use depending on why the Consignment has to be cancelled. 

  • Cancelled
  • Returned
  • No Stock/Never Arrived
  • Reissued
  • Lost

Consignment Cancelled statuses are customisable, meaning you can add and edit a Consignment Cancelled status. 

To add/edit a Consignment Cancelled status:

  • Navigate to the Consignment Delivery Cancelled Statuses page by typing 'Consignment Delivery Cancelled Statuses' into the Search for anything bar.
  • Select the Add Consignment Delivery Cancelled Status button in the top left corner.
  • From here you can create your own Consignment Delivery Cancelled Status.
  • To edit a current status, select the Edit button next to the status you would like to edit. 

Update or reset Consignment status 

To update a Consignment status you will need to do so manually, either individually or in bulk. 

The only time the status will update automatically and no manual intervention is required, is when a POD is recorded against the Consignment. When the POD is recorded the Consignment will automatically update to 'Delivered' or if it is a Pick Up Consignment the status will update to 'In Warehouse'.

There is also the option to enable Auto In Transit which will allow CartonCloud to automatically update the status from In Warehouse to In transit. However, this is only for Consignments that meet certain criteria and is only updated once a day. 

To update the status of a Consignment in bulk (for example, when the truck leaves the warehouse you would update all Consignments to 'In Transit' using the bulk function).

  • Navigate to the Consignments page by typing 'Consignments' into the Search for anything bar. 
  • Use the filter and sort function to find the relevant Consignments.
  • Select the Consignments you wish to allocate by selecting the tick box.
  • Once all relevant Consignments are selected, click Update Status.
  • From the drop-down menu select the status you wish to apply. 

 

To update or reset the status of a Consignment individually:

  • Click on the individual Consignment you wish to update.
  • From here, you can either reset or update the status.
