Support Team Lead / Logistics Trainer for Software Company

  • Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, based SaaS (Software as a Service) company, offering a complex web & mobile app based software solution to the logistics industry

  • Servicing clients from all over Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia and looking to expand further internationally

  • Friendly international team of 21, combining many years of experience in the tech & logistics industry



  • A super-star with extensive prior experience within logistics companies using Transport Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems

  • A strong logistics knowledge of what happens within warehouse and transport companies, particularly 3PL.

  • Able to easily answers to questions like; what is FIFO stock allocation? what is the process to receive new stock into a warehouse within a logistics system? What does runsheet, manifest or POD mean for transport companies?

  • Superuser / system lead within a 3PL warehouse and transport environment.

  • Strong communicator (with excellent written & spoken English skills, both over the phone and via email)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and, ideally, Google products

  • Highly recommended: Experience training other support operators / staff on using Transport / Warehousing Software, exposure to Customer Service Management practices and standard

Most of all though, we are looking for someone who is driven, adaptable and willing to learn.


The role

  • Working to ensure the system is used correctly, supporting external and internal users with advice and being a superuser type for the system.

  • Assisting customers with support on the system and help train the rest of the team on what logistics means when applied to systems.

  • Reporting of system issues to the developers via JIRA (lodging tickets in relation to issues reported). Ability to explain how to reproduce issues and highlight exactly what is / is not working correctly.

  • Documenting in our public Knowledge Base

  • Managing both phone and email support.

  • Liaising with our operations and marketing team to identify client requirements and assisting with troubleshooting

  • Managing other support team members as our company grows.
