Troubleshooting Barcode Scanner (Web Application)

Purpose
The following documents a number of known, and resolvable issues with using Barcode Scanners through the Web application. These issues are for scanners via the Web App and do not affect scanning within the Mobile Apps.
Barcodes are being cut-off when scanned
We're unsure exactly why this occurs, but it seems in some cases when the Barcode Scanner is sending the "Enter" key at the end of a scan, the label scanned can be cut off. The reason is, the web application can receive the Enter Key part-way through the barcode being received.
To prevent this, CartonCloud has the option to enable scanner delay, available from within Organisation Settings under the Features & Options tab.
Weird characters being received
In the event that you're receiving weird characters when scanning, you can debug exactly what is being received by using the "Barcode Scan Tester", which is available from: Site Map → Tools (or, search "tools" in the search for anything box). As keys are received, they are displayed below, showing the ASCII character codes in decimal format:
