Integration Requirements
If you have decided you would like to integrate CartonCloud with Shippit, we require you to send through an integration request via CartonCloud Help with the below information. Pricing will be provided upon sending through your request.
Requirements from the CartonCloud Tenant (the 3PL, owner of the CartonCloud account)
- The trigger you would like to set that will determine when an order is sent to Shippit. For example, when a Sale Order reaches the status of Packed or Dispatched.
- If only specific orders should be sent to Shippit, such as orders going to a particular state.
Requirements from the Shippit account holder
- Complete and submit a CartonCloud Integration Request Form.
- Your Shippit API Key.
- If only specific orders should be sent to Shippit, such as orders going to a particular state.
- Confirm if you would like the Shippit tracking ID or the Courier Tracking Number sent back to CartonCloud.
- Please note if you wish for the Courier Tracking Number to be returned this must be checked using a scheduled processor. When this API call to obtain tracking details occurs Shippit will automatically update the shipment to 'Ready to Ship'. We therefore, recommend only checking for tracking details at chosen times when you know shipments will already be processed.
