Proof of Delivery (POD) Email Notifications (for the delivery address's email)

Purpose

Proof of Delivery (POD) email notifications automatically send confirmation of a completed delivery to the delivery address email on a consignment. This ensures recipients receive delivery confirmation without manual intervention.

Use Cases

  • Provide delivery confirmation directly to the recipient
  • Reduce manual communication after delivery
  • Improve customer transparency and service experience

Configuration Overview

POD email notifications are controlled at both the Customer and Organisation level.

  • The Customer setting overrides the Organisation setting
  • The delivery address against the Consignment must have an email address for the POD email notification to be sent.  

How to enable POD Email Notifications for the delivery address's email 

At the Customer Level 

  • Navigate to the Customer Settings by selecting Contacts > Customers.
  • Select the relevant Customer.
  • Click Edit.
  • Select the Email > Notifications tab.
  • Scroll down to Proof of Delivery Notification Configuration and enable Send Proof of Delivery Notification Email
  • Click Save

At the Organisation Level 

  • Navigate to Organisation Settings by selecting More > Organisation Settings
  • Select the Email tab and scroll down to Disable Proof Of Delivery Notification For Delivery Address's Email and set it to No
