Printing Sale Order Customer Invoices / Documents

Purpose

This guide explains how to print Customer Invoices or Documents that are saved on a Sale Order within the Customer Invoices tab. These documents are typically handed to the driver or carrier with the goods at the time of collection.


How to steps

There are several ways of doing this. All ways first require navigating to the Sale Orders page.

  • To navigate to the Sale Order page, select Warehouse in the main menu, then Sale Orders from the drop-down.


Option 1: Download all Invoices ready to print

  • First, ensure the Sale Orders that you wish to print Invoices for are already packed, and therefore have a current status of 'Packed'

  • From the Sale Orders page, select Download/Export then in the drop-down select Download All Invoices Ready to Print

  • A box will appear on the screen letting you know how many invoices are available. To proceed, select Download. 

  • The invoices will be downloaded through your web browser as a single PDF file 

  • Then, choose whether to Mark invoices as printed or not. (If you have the setting Automatically updating Sale Orders to Dispatched turned on, this will result in the status of the Sale Order updating to 'Dispatched')

  • You can now open the downloaded PDF File to print all the invoices that were ready
     

Option 2: Choose selected Sale Orders with Invoices to print

  • Unlike Option 1, Sale Orders can be in ANY Status for this method to work

  • From the Sale Orders page, select the Sale Orders you wish to print Customer Invoices for. To select Sale Orders, tick the box on the left of their line 

  • Optionally, use the Filter tab, or Invoice Ready to Print tab to easily locate the Sale Orders you may be looking for, then select them.

  • Once the Sale Orders are selected, select Download/Export then in the drop-down select Download Selected Invoices

  • The invoices will be downloaded through your web browser as a single PDF file 

  • Then, choose whether to Mark invoices as printed or not. (If you have the setting Automatically updating Sale Orders to Dispatched turned on, this will result in the status of the Sale Order updating to 'Dispatched')

  • You can now open the downloaded PDF File to print all the selected invoices
