CartonCloud allows you to manually charge jobs when special, one off charging is required. This process can be utilised in Consignments, Purchase Orders and Sale Orders.

Adding a Manual Charge

In the 'Search for Anything' field enter the consignment, purchase order or sales order number you wish to add manual charges to. Once there, select the charges tab;

From there, select 'Add Income Charge' 

You have a couple of options when it comes to the type of charge you wish to apply to the job (NB for consignments, you have the option to add Fuel Levy);

  • new charge (make sure to use the description field) - When using this option make sure you specify a rate in the Income field
  • Select one of your pre-loaded ad-hoc charges 

In the example below, we have added a manual charge to specify that the first delivery is $5.00 as per agreement

Removing Existing Charges

If required, you can remove the existing charges against the consignment. To remove simply select the charges you would like to remove and select 'Save'.

Finalising Charges

To prevent CartonCloud from triggering a Charge Error against the job. You will need to finalise the charge. To do this, simply check the box next to Finalise Charges.
