Lodging a Consignment Error...

To lodge any error related to a specific Consignment, first select a single Consignment from the job list.

Notes: Errors cannot be lodged for grouped Consignments, only single Consignments.

... When the Consignment is Entirely Undeliverable

If the Consignment is completely undeliverable, select the Lodge Error tab from the tab bar at the top of the Consignment Detail View and select "No" when an alert shows, checking whether you are delivering anything from this Consignment.

If "Yes" is selected when checking whether anything is being delivered for this Consignment, a note will be displayed advising that an error should be lodged as part of lodging a POD (see .. when still delivering something below).


A number of error options will be displayed. Select the appropriate one and fill out any relevant information before selecting "Save Error". The error will then be sent to the CartonCloud system and can be dealt with by admin staff (see Resolving Lodged Errors below).

... When the Consignment is Partially Deliverable

If the Consignment is partially deliverable, select the Record POD tab from the tab bar at the top of the Consignment Detail View (as you normally would when delivering a consignment) and fill out all relevant POD data. Ensure you are entering the ACTUAL delivered quantity into Delivered fields at the top of the POD. Select the "Save POD" button to submit your POD.



As the app detects an unexpected quantity, a warning will appear, asking whether the you are doing a short delivery or whether the system was wrong.


System Was Wrong

On selecting "System Was Wrong", a temporary consignment error will be created and you can proceed as normal with your next job without requiring any further actions. The error will then be sent to the CartonCloud system and can be dealt with by admin staff (see Resolving Lodged Errors below).

Short Delivery

On selecting "Short Delivery", a number of error options will be displayed. Select the appropriate one and fill out any relevant information before selecting "Save Error". The error will then be sent to the CartonCloud system and can be dealt with by admin staff (see Resolving Lodged Errors below).


... When the Consignment is Deliverable

If the Consignment is deliverable but you want to lodge an error, select the Record POD tab from the tab bar at the top of the Consignment Detail View (as you normally would when delivering a consignment), fill out all relevant POD data and tick the  "I need to record an error" box at the bottom of the form. Select the "Save POD" button to submit your POD.



Next, you will be guided to an list of error options. Choose the one most appropriate for the error you want to lodge and proceed with filling out the error form and select "Save Error" at the bottom of the error view when finished. The error will then be sent to the CartonCloud system and can be dealt with by admin staff (see Resolving Lodged Errors below).

Consignments that have an error lodged against them are highlighted in purple in the job list.


Resolving Lodged Errors

To resolve Consignment Errors lodged via the driver app, navigate to the Consignment in the CartonCloud web app and select the Errors tab.

 


Within this tab any lodged error linked to this Consignment will be displayed and can be marked as resolved or displayed in more detail.
